The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest will host its biennial fundraising party on Friday, April 4,, 2014, at 7:00pm at the deCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA. Funds raised will support the organization’s mission to strengthen the communities of Concord and Carlisle by marshaling resources to support those in need.
This year’s event will feature open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auction, and music and dancing to the sounds of The Marsels. Attire is spring cocktail. Tickets are $150 per person.
“The party will be a great way to kick off spring and re-connect with friends after a long winter,” said auction chair Laura Davidian. “We are thrilled to host it at the beautiful deCordova Museum, and expect tickets to sell out. We greatly appreciate the support of our community for this important fundraiser. We are looking forward to a fun evening!”
The Community Chest in currently in the midst of its annual campaign, ending April 30, with a goal of $650,000. This year’s process for allocating funds to more than 30 organizations that support Concord and Carlisle is already underway, with a volunteer group of 32 Concord and Carlisle residents evaluating $630,000 in requests for funding.
