The Campership Fund assists families in Concord and Carlisle who would otherwise not be able to afford the expense of summer camps. Priorities are made to working parents and families who contribute part of the cost. The Campership Committee works closely with Concord’s Community Services Coordinator to make knowledgeable, sensitive decisions about how to divide the limited funding between families. This fund is generously sponsored by individual donors, Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty, The Thoreau Club, and Open Door Education.
“I do not have the funds to send my son to camp. This will help me cover some much needed childcare while I work. I’m a single mom on a very low income level. I would also like my son to be able to learn new things, and it will help take the pressure off my 14-year-old son who watches him.”
